On Sunday, February 14th, our brother in Christ Pastor John Thies, entered the Church Triumphant.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday (February 18th) at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Elberta, AL, at 3:00 PM, preceded by visitation at 1:00 PM. A meal will follow.

Clergy are welcome to vest (PURPLE), Pastor Bob Rupp will preach and Pastor Keith Ringers will officiate. St. Mark's is also planning a meal afterward with everyone invited.

May the Lord grant each of us comfort in the good news of everlasting life in Christ, and may we also comfort one another with that same message of life and peace.
