The Southern District in partnership with the Mid-South District is hosting a Funding Academy II in Clinton, MS (Jackson area). The Academy will begin on Thursday morning (November 11) and conclude by no later than 4 p.m. on Friday (November 12). LCMS School Ministry Team has coordinated a follow-up training event to the original Funding Academy hosted in Memphis in October 2009. Funding Academy II offers additional insights into issues that are critical for school ministry leaders.
Who should attend? Funding Academy II is designed to assist the leadership team address critical issues. Administrators (principals & directors), Business Managers/Treasurers, Pastors, and Board of Ed Chairpersons, or Congregational Presidents are encouraged to attend.

A block of rooms has been set aside at the Comfort Inn & Suites and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Clinton. The registration information explains all of the details about Funding Academy II along with the cost and registration form. The Academy is open to persons from other LCMS districts on a space available basis.
